Cloud & DevOps Services in Karachi

Your Karachi Cloud and DevOps Partner

From our North Nazimabad office, our engineers plan, migrate, automate and run infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud for businesses across Karachi.

Sherdil Cloud is a cloud and DevOps consultancy headquartered in Karachi, with its Pakistan office in Block J, North Nazimabad. From here, our engineers plan, migrate, automate and run infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud for companies in Karachi and across Pakistan, the UAE and the US.

If you run a Karachi business and want a cloud partner you can meet in person, call in your own time zone and hold to Pakistani compliance rules, this page explains what we do locally and how an engagement works.

Why Karachi businesses move to the cloud

Karachi is Pakistan’s commercial and financial centre. That means many local companies run workloads that cannot afford downtime: payment and banking systems, e-commerce stores during sale seasons, logistics and port-linked operations, and SaaS products serving customers abroad. For these teams, an on-premise server room brings familiar problems: power interruptions that depend on generators and UPS units, hardware that takes weeks to import and replace, and a single physical site that becomes a single point of failure.

Moving to a public cloud does not remove every risk, but it shifts the hard parts (power, cooling, hardware replacement, physical security) to providers that run multiple data centres per region. Your team can then focus on the application, the data and the customer.

There is no AWS region inside Pakistan today, so most Karachi workloads run in nearby regions such as AWS Middle East (UAE) or Asia Pacific (Mumbai), or on Azure, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud equivalents. Picking the right region is a trade-off between latency for Pakistani users, cost, and any data-location requirements that apply to you. We work through that trade-off with you before anything is migrated.

Cloud and DevOps services we deliver from Karachi

Cloud migration

We move applications, databases and file servers from local data centres or office server rooms to the cloud, using lift-and-shift, re-platforming or re-architecture depending on the workload. Every migration starts with an inventory of your systems and dependencies, a cut-over plan and a rollback plan. See our cloud migration services for the full method.

DevOps automation

For Karachi software houses and product teams, we build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and automated testing so releases stop depending on one person working late. Typical work includes pipeline setup, containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes, and monitoring with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Read more on our DevOps and infrastructure page.

Managed cloud and day-to-day support

Once you are live, we can run the environment for you: patching, backups, monitoring, incident response and monthly reviews. Because our Pakistan team works on Pakistan Standard Time, your issues are handled during your working day, not overnight from another continent.

Cost optimisation and security audits

Cloud bills grow quietly. We review usage, right-size resources and set up tagging and budgets so spend stays predictable. Our optimisation and audit service also covers access control, network exposure and backup readiness. For the techniques we use, see our guide to AWS cost optimization strategies.

Consulting and training

If you are still deciding whether and how to move, our cloud and DevOps consulting team can assess your current setup and build a roadmap. We also run corporate training so your own engineers can operate the platform with confidence.

Built around Pakistani compliance

Many Karachi clients work in or with the financial sector. Sherdil Cloud designs environments with the State Bank of Pakistan’s requirements for financial data in mind from the first architecture diagram, alongside international standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001 where they apply. That means encryption, access logging, backup and disaster-recovery plans are part of the design, not an afterthought added before an audit. If your organisation has a specific regulator, auditor or internal policy, we map the design to it and document the controls.

How a Karachi engagement works

  1. Discovery call or office meeting. We start with your goals, current systems and constraints. Karachi clients can meet the team at our North Nazimabad office or online.
  2. Assessment. We review your infrastructure, applications, costs and risks, and agree the scope in writing.
  3. Design and plan. You receive a target architecture, a migration or automation plan, a timeline and a cost estimate.
  4. Delivery. We build, migrate and test in stages, with a rollback option at each cut-over.
  5. Handover or managed support. We train your team and hand over documentation, or continue to run the environment under a support agreement.

Work we have delivered

Our case studies include AWS cross-region migration, multi-cloud migration and deployment, SAP on AWS, single sign-on integration, security audits, cost optimisation and day-to-day maintenance. The same team that delivered these projects works from our Karachi office.

Why work with a Karachi-based cloud partner

  • Same time zone. Meetings, releases, and incident calls happen during Pakistani business hours.
  • Local presence, global reach. Sherdil Cloud has had teams in Pakistan, the UAE and the United States since 2014.
  • Multi-cloud expertise. We work across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud, so the recommendation fits your workload rather than a single vendor.
  • End-to-end delivery. Strategy, migration, DevOps, security and managed support from one team.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Sherdil Cloud’s Karachi office?

Our Pakistan office is at A-570, 1st Floor, Near Batha Masjid, Block J, North Nazimabad, Karachi, Sindh 74700. You can reach the team on +92 319 2812179.

Can my data stay in Pakistan if I move to the cloud?

Major public clouds such as AWS do not currently run a region inside Pakistan, so workloads usually run in nearby regions such as the UAE or Mumbai. If you have data-location requirements, we review them first and design around them, which may include keeping specific data on local infrastructure in a hybrid setup.

Do you work with small and mid-size Karachi businesses?

Yes. Engagements range from a single application migration or CI/CD pipeline to full managed cloud operations. We scope each project to what you actually need.

Which cloud platforms do you support?

We work with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Alibaba Cloud, including multi-cloud and hybrid setups.

How do we get started?

Book a discovery call through our contact page or call our Karachi office. We will review your current setup and suggest next steps before any commitment.
